## How We Met

It was the International Typography Conference in Basel — the kind of event only certain people attend. Lars was presenting a paper on grid systems. Mia was in the front row, disagreeing with every third slide, loudly enough that he noticed.

They argued over coffee. They agreed on almost nothing. They left together three hours later. That was four years ago. The grid, it turns out, is just a starting point.
