### Sven

A furniture designer from Malmö who believes a good chair can change how you see the world — and that Maja changed everything else.

### Maja

A marine biologist who studies light in deep water — and found that the brightest thing she's ever seen is Sven's face when he's working.

Our Story

## How We Met

Sven was installing a chair prototype at a research institute in Copenhagen. Maja was there for a conference on bioluminescence. She walked into the wrong room, sat in the chair without asking, and told him it needed adjusting.

He asked her to demonstrate. She spent forty minutes explaining, using her hands. He took notes. He adjusted the chair. She came back the next day to check.

They had coffee. Then dinner. Then the rest.
