Cassian first noticed Lyra at the opening of a conceptual exhibition in the Meatpacking District — she was photographing a mirrored installation, entirely absorbed, light fracturing around her in a dozen directions at once. He stood and watched for eleven minutes before he said a word.
She told him later she had noticed him watching from the first moment. They have been inseparable since. This wedding is the next image in a story still being made.

Cassian is a haute couture designer whose collections have been shown at Paris Fashion Week for the past seven seasons. His work explores the boundary between garment and sculpture, material and myth. He is based between New York and Paris.
Lyra is a fashion and fine art photographer whose images have appeared in Vogue, Dazed, and the collections of several international galleries. She shoots on film and on instinct. She is most alive in the dark.
