Our Story

## How We Met

Vivienne first encountered Ezra at the opening of his private gallery in Dubai — a collection of sculptures cast in obsidian and 24-karat gold. She had been commissioned to write the catalogue essay and arrived expecting to be indifferent. She was not indifferent.

He approached her as she stood before his centrepiece work, a suspended orb of black glass threaded with gold leaf, and asked what she saw. She told him it looked like a planet that had decided to become jewellery. He said that was the most accurate description anyone had ever offered. They have been inseparable since that evening.

This wedding is an extension of what they have always built together — something impossibly rare, meticulously crafted, and lit from within.

### Ezra

Vivienne is an art critic and cultural essayist whose writing has appeared in Frieze, Vogue Italia, and the Financial Times. She divides her time between Paris and Dubai and has a particular interest in the intersection of architecture, jewellery, and contemporary sculpture.

### Vivienne

Ezra is a sculptor and materials artist whose practice centres on the tension between industrial processes and organic forms. His private collections are held by galleries in Dubai, Geneva, and Seoul. He is drawn to things that are built to last forever.
