Our Story

## How We Met

Hana and Renzo met at a botanical garden workshop in Kyoto — she was arranging ikebana with dried grasses and cedarwood, and he had come to sketch the moss garden he had spent two years trying to recreate at home. They did not speak for the first hour, but worked side by side in the particular silence of people who are paying close attention to living things.

By the end of the afternoon, he had filled half a sketchbook with drawings of her hands. She still has one of the pressed botanicals she made that day. This wedding is the garden they are planting together — patient, intentional, and built to last.

## Meet the The Couple

### Renzo

Hana is a ceramics artist and floral designer whose work explores the boundary between the ephemeral and the enduring. Her studio is filled with wabi-sabi objects, pressed botanicals, and the smell of cedarwood.

### Hana

Renzo designs living landscapes for hotels and private estates across Asia and the Pacific Northwest. He has been trying to grow a perfect moss garden in his backyard for four years and counting.
