Our Story

A Tropical Encounter

## Arjun _&_ Maya

It was the monsoon season that brought them together — not the rain, but the shelter they sought from it. Arjun, a conservation architect restoring ancient Balinese temples, had ducked beneath the overhang of a spice market stall. Maya, a textile artist researching traditional ikat weaving, had the same idea.

They spent three hours talking about sacred geometry, the philosophy encoded in temple walls, and why turmeric-stained fingers are actually a mark of honor. By the time the rain cleared, they had exchanged numbers and a shared understanding that some meetings are woven into the fabric of the universe long before they happen.

Three years, two continents, and one Balinese sunrise later — here we are.
