Our Story

## How We Met

It was the autumn of 1924 — or so it felt. A jazz club in the West Village, all cigarette smoke and trumpet. Roland was at the bar, nursing a bourbon, watching the door. Vivienne walked in wearing a dress the colour of midnight, and the room shifted.

Four years, three cities, and one shared obsession with antique maps later — we are ready to make it permanent. We would be deeply honoured to have you bear witness.

## About Us

![Roland](https://wedflip.com/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.futechx.cloud%2Fwedflip%2Ftemplates%2Fwedding-photo-sets%2Fv2%2Fb-city-night%2Fpartner-groom.webp\&w=3840\&q=75)

### Roland

Roland is a concert pianist and composer whose work has been performed at Carnegie Hall and the Palais Garnier. Between compositions, he restores antique clocks, collects first-edition jazz recordings, and argues, passionately, that the Manhattan is an underrated cocktail.

### Vivienne

Vivienne is a fashion historian and museum curator whose exhibitions have toured from the Met to the V\&A. She writes in longhand, drinks her coffee black, and has an unsettling ability to identify a fabric's decade purely by touch. She wears her grandmother's ring every day.
